Rangeford Holdings announces four new appointments to company’s management team
Rangeford Holdings, the development company behind modern retirement villages Wadswick Green in Wiltshire and Mickle Hill in North Yorkshire, has appointed four new senior members to its management team. The objective of the new team is to develop and support the existing villages, whilst growing Rangeford into one of the UK’s leading operators of retirement communities. The appointments include:
• Roger Davies joins as Chairman. Roger acts as a Non-Executive Director for several organisations in the sectors of care, housing and support services for older people. Previously Chief Executive of MHA (Methodist Homes for the Aged) for 15 years, Roger has played a prominent role in establishing organisations such as Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO), Care England and Your Care Rating, with a view to enhancing the sector for service providers, staff members, residents and service users.
• Howard Nankivell joins as CEO. Over the past nine years, Howard was an Executive Director at Anchor, one of the UK’s largest providers of housing and care for older people. Having overlooked the smooth operation of over 30,000 retirement units across England, he is particularly experienced in the delivery and management of high performing retirement communities.
• Jonathan Harper joins as Finance Director. Most recently, Jonathan spent eight years with leading retirement operator Sunrise Senior Living, playing a central role in the organisation’s expansion and corporate acquisitions. Jonathan acted as Financial Director for Sunrise as well as interim CEO during its recent management transition. He is a qualified chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in finance, property and senior living.
• David Sedman joins as Development Director. Previously Head of Delivery for Octopus Healthcare Development, David has spent the last three years focusing on Rangeford and has dedicated his career to care, retirement community development and design. His previous 15 years’ experience includes working with BUPA, Richmond Villages and prominent architectural practices delivering retirement and care communities across the UK.
Rangeford continues to work in partnership with Octopus Healthcare, a leading UK healthcare property investor, developer and manager of healthcare properties, focused on delivering exceptional healthcare facilities across the UK.
