Contracts Surveyor Joins Care Home Specialist

Nottingham based specialist care home builder, Wynbrook have announced the appointment of Edward Day as a Contracts Surveyor.

The appointment follows an increase in the number of care home developments currently under construction by Wynbrook. Edward will split his time overseeing the build of two new major developments located in Melton Mowbray and Worcester.

The £4.7m project in Melton Mowbray is a new 88 bed care facility to provide both residential care and dementia care. The Worcester project is a new £4.9m 66 bed care facility. Residents in the Melton Mowbray care home will be able to enjoy many in-house entertainment facilities such as a cinema, gym, bar, restaurant and fabulous views over the River Eyre.

Edward is an experienced surveyor and holds a Masters degree in Quantity Surveying from Nottingham University. During his studies, Edward worked at Wynbrook to gain valuable practical experience. Since qualifying in 2010, Edward has worked in various construction project management roles for Mott MacDonald; a Global Engineering Consultancy, the Water Regulator; Ofwat and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Wynbrook operates from offices in Radcliffe on Trent, Nottingham. Chris Smith, Wynbrook Director commented
