Heathcotes appoints director of business development
Chesterfield-based care provider, Heathcotes Group, has appointed Natalia Lysiuk as director of
Previously head of commissioning at Heathcotes, Natalia is now part of the senior leadership team with a key strategic role in the growth of company’s nationwide service portfolio, overseeing existing business development alongside the identification of new bespoke service streams. Natalia has a wealth of experience in development roles in the health and social care. Before joining Heathcotes almost five years ago, she worked in a commissioning role for an independent mental health provider. Heathcotes Group specialises in person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and associated challenging behaviours.
Heathcotes Group managing director, Brendan Kelly, said:
“Natalia joined Heathcotes in 2015 and she has been a fundamental part of our success over the past five years, building excellent relationships with clinical commissioning groups and local authorities. She has played a leading role in the growth of Heathcotes’ full-time residential care services and the introduction of a new independent supported living provision which has enabled us to provide a full care pathway. Natalia has also worked closely with our clinical team in the successful development of a unique model of residential therapy for people with personality disorders and has also played a key role in the development of our children’s services portfolio.”
“I am excited to take on this new role as Heathcotes Group plans its growth and development in 2020. We ended last year on a high, with two services receiving an Outstanding rating from the CQC, and we have just opened the largest provision of independent supported living that we have built on a single site, offering eight self-contained apartments in Leeds which have 24-hour staff support. That model of care will be an important part of our ongoing expansion alongside our full-time care provision and I am keen to develop more of this across the UK.”
With expertise in providing living environments that closely resemble typical family homes, Heathcotes Group currently has 72 services nationwide. The company offers a wide range of specialist support for individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome, autism, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, personality disorders, physical disabilities, Prader-Willi Syndrome, sensory impairments, speech difficulties and severe epilepsy.
