Home Instead is ranked no.1 for recommendations

Home Instead Senior Care has been named the number one most recommended home care company across England, Scotland and Wales.

The company, which provides at-home care for older people and has over 190 franchise offices around the country, has seen 55 of those offices placed in the top 20 in their region as part of the Home Care Awards 2018.

Run by homecare.co.uk, the awards are based on nearly 10,000 independent reviews by clients and their friends and families, and highlight the 20 most recommended providers across 11 regions of the UK.

Home Instead has taken 55 of the 220 top spots – more than any other company.

Managing director Martin Jones called it ‘wonderful news’. “I am so proud of everyone who is part of the team at Home Instead,” he added.

“There is no better recommendation than from the very people who use our service each and every day; they show we are indeed achieving our mission to change the face of ageing.

“I would like to say thank you and congratulations to all our caregivers and office teams who work so hard to care for our older generation, and who love every minute.”

Writing on the homecare.co.uk website, one reviewer said: “The staff at Home Instead are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, from doing the washing and shopping to taking my aunt out for appointments and visits.

“I live an hour and a half away and it has made things easier knowing my aunt is well cared for, and has daily companionship and assistance.”

Another said: “This team is excellent with their care. The caregivers give their all; I could not do without them now. This is a fab team and an excellent one. This is the team to go for if you are looking for care for a loved one.”

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager at homecare.co.uk, said: “Home Instead Senior Care has proved that it provides a high standard of care and we’d like to congratulate it on being a top home care group.”

Home care providers, which treat people with dignity and respect and offer personalised care, are vital in today’s society where people are living longer with more complex conditions.
