He was 18 years old. His agent, Pedro Tapia, confirmed the news, but gave no details. He added that Sanders’ death is under investigation.
“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future,” Tapia said. “He belongs to a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
Sanders has been in several short films and played Young Jake Otto in an episode of AMC Fear of walking dead Before appearing as Leo on Amazon Just add magic in 2019. This led to a starring role in the 2020 spin-off series Just add magic: the mysterious city, Which focused on half-siblings Liu (Sanders), Zoe (Julie Huang Rappaport) and their neighbor Ish (Gina Qureshi). Leo Sanders has become the new guardian of a magical cookbook, unlocking a centuries-old mystery that takes them on a historical adventure through city streets in a race to find a secret recipe. Sanders also appeared in the third season episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star which aired in April and on the 2018 episode of ABC hamilton score, Starring Nathan Fillion. His other credits include the 2017 NBC pilot What about Barb?, Starring Lea Remini and Ben Lawson, 2019 movie the reliant With Kevin Sorbo and Julia Denton.
There were no immediate reports of survivors or a funeral.
