Mayflower to come under Dormy Care Communities umbrella
Mayflower Care Communities has changed its name and become Dormy Care Communities South Ltd.
Pinemartin Grange in Dorset, which opened last September and Bramshott Grange in Hampshire, which launched last March, will both now come under the Dormy Care Communities umbrella.
Dormy Care Communities which is due to open its £12 million luxury Foxhunters home in Abergavenny, South Wales, in November and Brockington House in Hereford next summer, shares the same investors as Mayflower.
Dormy Care Communities CEO, Helen Davies-Parsons, who has been overseeing both of the Mayflower homes since March, explained that nothing will change operationally.
“My philosophy as a registered nurse is to provide the highest standards of care and support delivered by people who share my passion and beliefs,” she said.
“I am proud of how the Mayflower Homes and the teams working in them have grown and we will continue to ensure we offer the very best standards and services.
“I have made the decision to blend the two Companies so that they come together as one family. There is no change to the teams or the homes and most importantly the same values and commitments remain with my focus on ensuring we enable people to live an active and enriched life regardless of their physical challenges.
“The only change will be the overall branding to incorporate Dormy Care in to the homes in Liphook and Wareham. You can be reassured that our person-centred approach will remain and our residents and visitors will continue to be treated with the respect, dignity and attention they deserve.” https:www.dormycare.co.uk/
